Belleville Rendezvous 15 September, 2003

I went to see Belleville Rendezvous at the weekend. What a fantastic film! Short and sweet at just over an hour. Great characters (especially grandma and her whistle), amazing animation conveying humour and emotion with only about 20 spoken words (I didn’t count, but there’s only a bit of dialoue at the beginning and end [if you don't count the signing]).
